.: History :.As any young artist would try to make their mark, Jason Geldmacher began to make his way into the world of technology. Geldmacher didn't start out in the technology field. This young man had already made a place for himself in the musical world. By the age of 18, he had already performed with youth orchestras that took him around the world. His performance career was highlighted by a tour of Australia and a culminating performance at the world renowned Sydney Opera House. Young Mr. Geldmacher went on to obtain his first degree of Music Education k-12 in 2001 when he graduated from West Liberty State College. After battling with his own desires to want something more, he decided teaching music wasn't what he had hoped. Geldmacher continued dabbling with music as he sought out something more meaningful. He decided that music wasn't the only art that he could excel in. He always had a penchant for art and for technology, so he decided to take a shot at web design. This first step began a long journey through a tough path that lead us to where we are today. Jason taught himself as much as he could about websites over the few months that followed his decision to walk away from teaching music. With no real education, Jason met up with a gentleman that gave him more than just an outlet to express his creative desires outside of the computer. Jason was given an opportunity to still teach on the side while furthering his self-motivated drive to become a better web designer. Geldmacher was asked to be the web designer and master for an independent winter guard called Art101. What better way is there to express creative urges than through performing arts and through web design? Jason had the best of both worlds. He could continue to teach performing arts on the weekends while being a webmaster for the ensembles he taught. Technology met art. Jason soon realized that if he was to continue making great websites for the organization, he needed to branch out and seek education. No sooner than the thought appeared, Jason was enrolled at DeVry University. The accelerated courses allowed Jason to work fast and soak up the knowledge he desired. He knew that if he was to start seeking out other people to design for, he would need to have the background and education to back up his forward momentum. A short year later, Jason Geldmacher graduated DeVry University with a Bachelors of Science in Information Technology - Web Application Development. Here we are, seeking out what comes next.
